Justin Regus

Justin Regus is a specialist in large-scale complex data analytics for parties in litigation, transactions, or other disruptive events. For more than 15 years he has supported clients involved in complex disputes, including both civil and criminal litigation. Renaissance Associates has collaborated with Justin for more than 6 years and has an exclusive strategic alliance with him for his complex data analytics services.

Justin’s project experience includes disputes related to white collar fraud, insider trading, valuation, antitrust issues, commercial damages and intellectual property. He has been qualified as an expert and testified in deposition and at trial in the state of California. He has also presented at mediation and has supported numerous expert testimonies in state and federal courts.

Over the course of his career Justin has developed in-depth expertise in the application of complex statistical and econometric methodologies to issues of evaluating liability and damages, particularly in complex financial disputes, securities fraud cases and employment matters.

Justin earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2010. The CFA designation is globally recognized and attests to the charter holder’s success in a rigorous and comprehensive study program in the field of investment management and research analysis. Justin also earned the Certified Fraud Examiner designation in 2013. He currently teaches in the review program offered by the CFA Society of Los Angeles. He has also taught courses on statistics, investments and computer programming to clients and colleagues.

Justin received his Bachelor of the Arts degree from Claremont McKenna College, where he majored in Economics and wrote a senior thesis based on econometric analyses of the relationships between major league baseball salaries, performance and fan engagement.
